Doximity is looking for a Strategic Analytics Analyst. This role will combine life sciences industry knowledge and analytics know-how as they leverage large amounts of market data and operational data to identify key audiences to drive business opportunities. If you have a passion for utilizing data to make impactful business decisions, this role is for you.

How you’ll make an impact 

  • Responsible for identifying, creating, and deploying analysis as part of our commercial offerings
  • Develop queries to extract data from multiple sources, analyze, and provide clear insights with recommendations that will have a positive impact on business opportunities. 
  • Provide requestors with strategic and tactical analysis to drive business opportunities and deliver positive ROI.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and support various initiatives, such as audience engagement assessments, member registration initiatives, and new business opportunity rationale.
  • Utilize business instincts to develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, and present recommendations based on a data-driven process. You have the ability to explore and look for interesting insights that can be translated into actionable follow-ups
  • Turn complicated information into easy to understand stories with meaningful takeaways
  • Work across teams to understand what certain data readouts mean, how product designs may influence that information, and what responses, if any, should be considered
  • Summarize and present results in clear and concise manner for a technical and non-technical audience
  • Support the development and maintenance of our commercial strategic targeting solutions
  • Assist in structuring and developing market analysis and competitive sets

 

What we’re looking for 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analysis is required.
  • Experience in life sciences industry
  • Experience with providing ad hoc analytical and database support to develop segmentation and targeting programs (in life sciences analytics)
  • Experience with commercial life sciences data and product awareness (medical/pharmacy claims, provider data, and related data)
  • Strong SQL skill is required, as candidates must be able to write queries from scratch with experience in running analysis using SQL (or comparable languages such as Python).  
  • Strong Excel skill is required. Must be proficient with advanced analytic functions such as vlookup, named ranges, pivot tables, formulas, etc.
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop development, including data manipulation and visualization.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis.
  • Self starter with strong technical skills and analytical skills.
  • Have a passion for digging deeper into the data to find patterns and insights.
