THE ROLE
We are looking for a stellar candidate who can drive the Go-To-Market strategy and cross-company core messaging for Doppler focusing on the developer experience. The Doppler secrets management platform enables our customers to build applications faster, scale them fearlessly, and collaborate within their teams seamlessly. You’ll be a key member of an energetic and globally distributed team. In the role, you will be responsible for creating compelling thought leadership themes, messages and GTM programs that position the value of Doppler and define a new category of Developer Tools: secrets management. Moreover, you'll be an expert with relevant developer interfaces, such as cloud integrations, secrets (API keys, Database credentials, etc), DevOps workflows, environment variables, among others, to a diverse audience – from developers and cybersecurity professionals through to senior technical and business decision-makers.
This technically strong person will work with the CEO, Head of Growth, and Developer Advocate to:
- Tell Compelling Stories – Develop value propositions, messages, and positioning that translates product capabilities into unique and meaningful productivity and business benefits and value that resonate with developers in every stage of their Doppler journey. Exhibiting thought leadership and storytelling will be a key part of the role.
- Research and Develop – Synthesize market trends, customer requirements, and competitive offerings to identify key messages and points of Doppler differentiation, along with gaps in current offerings. You will infuse this analysis into product messaging and positioning, which will be used cross-functionally for product roadmap prioritization and growth acquisition strategies.
- Plan and Execute – Collaborate with our Marketing and Engineering teams to create the strategic and tactical GTM plan that communicates the value of the Doppler secrets management platform to multiple audiences. Support product launches and help scale adoption.
- Evangelize – Engage directly with all potential users to categorically define the secrets management space through educational content and influential, opinionated stances. Drive awareness and desire of the Doppler offering by presenting at industry conferences, and assuming the role of spokesperson to the press and analyst community.
- Define – Share market and user analysis with our Marketing, Engineering, and Executive Leadership teams to help inform product strategy and roadmap.
- Measure – Evaluate the ROI of product marketing activities and develop plans for continuous improvement.
