The Vice President of Data Technology will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding our data services, architecture, science teams, and customer data implementations. The ideal candidate will not only possess a profound understanding of data technology and its application but also demonstrate leadership skills in driving initiatives and guiding teams.

The work you will do/Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the company's data technology and its integration with overall company goals. 
    • Team Management: Directly manage the data services team, data architecture team, data science team, and customer data implementations team. 
    • Technical Proficiency: Ensure best practices in Azure, SQL, advanced data structures, Master Data Management, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Data Lakes. 
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Product and Technology Officer and other leadership members to ensure data solutions align with product development and company direction. 
    • Data Governance and Security: Oversee the company's data policies, ensuring data integrity, security, and privacy. 
    • Customer Implementations: Lead the customer data implementations, ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely delivery. 
    • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data technology, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of innovation. 

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Azure, SQL, advanced data structures, Master Data Management, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Data Lakes.
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in data technology with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven experience in building, leading, and mentoring diverse technical teams. 
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
