The idea for Bright Cellars came to us in 2013 after graduating from MIT. We were craft beer and cocktail connoisseurs, but realized we didn’t know the first thing when it came to wine. We were facing a vast and complex market that felt unapproachable. In our quest to learn more about wine and our own palates, we came up short.
We created Bright Cellars and the Bright Points algorithm to fill this gap – allowing us to not only deliver excellent wine to our members, but also give them the added bonus of learning about their own tastes.
We founded Bright Cellars with the belief that wine is for everyone.
