So, what’s the role?

As the Aggregator, New Markets and Insights Analyst at Kin Insurance, you will be responsible for end-to-end support of the Aggregator and Affiliate channels, while also helping support new market launch and new product launch analysis plus execution. You will be working closely with internal teams such as Sales, Analytics, Product, and Underwriting to drive growth and optimize efficiency of marketing spend to drive leads that convert to customers. In addition to aggregators and affiliates, you will also be providing insights and support for Direct Mail and testing initiatives.

A day in the life could include: 

  • Provide support for end-to-end lead generation from Aggregator and Affiliate channels, as well as direct mail
  • Use data to identify growth opportunities and optimize targeting, bidding, creative, landing experience, etc.
  • Work closely with internal teams to define and track campaign metrics, i.e. #new users, CPL, CAC, etc.
  • Analyze and provide actionable insights on customer segmentation, personas, and LTV
  • Conduct continuous experimentation and A/B or split testing to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Support new market analysis and new product initiatives plus analysis
  • Provide project management and program management support as needed

  • Strong data-centric and analytical background with experience in project and program management
  • Solid experience in using data to identify growth opportunities and optimize targeting, bidding, creative, landing experience, etc.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally on a sizeable team
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a motivated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and expectations
  • Technical Requirements: Basic SQL skills (proven track record to independently query data from disparate sources), Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, vLookup, Index/Match, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as marketing, statistics, economics, or business is preferred
  • Flexibility is key for this role, as the Aggregator, New Markets and Insights Analyst will be expected to work on a variety of projects and initiatives as needed.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with insurance-specific aggregators (MediaAlpha, Everquote, QuoteWizard, etc.)
  • Good understanding of auction-based lead generation platforms and real-time bidding optimization
  • Proficiency with Looker and/or other data visualization tools
  • Ability to oversee and run paid campaigns on multiple performance marketing channels
  • Familiarity with direct mail and testing initiatives or frameworks for online and offline campaigns
  • Experience in launching in new markets or new products in new or existing markets
