We are looking for an experienced Senior, Audit Analytics to contribute to the ongoing development of the Internal Audit (IA) function and to Affirm’s efforts to achieve compliance with requirements associated with its business objectives. The Audit Analytics Senior will directly assist the Senior Manager/Director of Audit Analytics with implementing Continuous Auditing (CA) and Data Analytics (DA) capabilities to impact and influence positive business outcomes!
What You'll Do
- Assist and be an individual contributor for IA project deliverables, including scoping documentation, narratives, flowcharts, and testing workpapers.
- Work with business partners, including product, engineering, analytics, operations, compliance and technology peers across the company to perform various reviews, conduct transactional testing, and provide insights based on trend analysis.
- Complete specific areas of an audit project using audit methodology to evaluate risk, determine control objectives, and use analytics to verify the extent to which Affirm’s process, controls, and systems are operating as intended.
- Implement continuous auditing, data analysis and monitoring capabilities using the Affirm platform and technology.
- Understand and identify an inventory of applications, databases, and data warehouses across Affirm.
- Support audit issue remediation validation and closure procedures.
- Execute the data analytics scope related to SOX program including performing risk assessments, leading walkthroughs and overseeing tests of design and operational effectiveness of relevant controls.
- Identify and promote audit standard methodologies associated with the use of Affirm’s core platforms, applications and capabilities.
- Adhere to and align with applicable federal & state laws and regulatory guidance, as well as Affirm policies and procedures.
- Prepare and complete detailed audit programs for stand alone DA projects, as well as business integrated audits where audit analytics support may be required.
What We Look For
- 5+ years of data analytics and scripting capabilities (example: SQL, Python, R etc.) and reporting tools (Looker, Tableau etc.) with a combination of industry, project management, and consulting experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Data Analytics. Appropriate certifications and training in data analytics (i.e. AWS Certified Data Analyst, Snowflake Training etc.), auditing certifications are also preferred (i.e. CIA, CPA, CISA, CISSP or equivalent).
- Experience implementing Continuous Auditing and Data Analytics techniques, including automating common analyses and recurring audit check procedures.
- Extracting data from data warehouses and databases (example: SQL DB's and Snowflake). Designing and maintaining Continuous Auditing queries and dashboards, developing controls to maintain the integrity of the data and queries used for analytics and execution of multiple projects.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining analytics dashboards that address financial/operating and technology objectives.
- Experience operating in an ambiguous and constantly evolving environment
- Demonstrated experience, skills and knowledge with IIA Professional Practices and Standards.
- Experience in FinTech, Financial Services, Retail, SaaS or technology-related companies is highly preferred.

Base Pay Grade - I
Equity Grade - Poland 2
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
POL base pay range per year: 181,000 zł - 261,000 zł
