Itinerary (About the role)
 
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Revenue Analytics team. 
 
The Revenue Analytics team is dedicated to building the analytics tools, data, pipelines, reporting and metrics that allow us to effectively and efficiently evaluate the revenue performance of our deep learning models.
 
You are a highly curious, detail-oriented, independent analytics expert. You thrive on building data solutions and analytics tools, uncovering trends and patterns that will help improve our machine learning systems. You are a highly competent communicator towards both technical and non-technical audiences. If you’re happiest learning new, challenging domains, then FLYR has what you are looking for.
 
You will be joining a dedicated team of Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and airline domain experts responsible for ensuring that our product teams and end-users are equipped with the information to understand and action all opportunities relating to driving more revenue with the Cirrus Revenue Operating System™.

What will your journey look like? (Responsibilities)

    • Develop analytics tools and data to support customer-facing teams in the measurement of customer revenue performance and deep learning model behavior
    • Apply SQL skills in Google BigQuery and Visualize data using BI tools such as Tableau and Google Data Studio
    • Design and develop novel performance metrics and streamline performance reporting
    • Identify and interpret trends in large and complex data sets
    • Engage directly with customers and stakeholders through presentations, ad hoc touch-points, Q&A, and explanation of model performance and behaviors
    • Work closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to design and implement data model changes and to communicate opportunities for tool improvements

What can you bring on this trip? (Qualifications)

    • 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or similar quantitative analytics role
    • Advanced SQL - You know your way around analytical and aggregate functions, complex joins, window functions, and are confident in wrangling all types of data in SQL
    • Extensive experience with data visualization tools such (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker, etc.) and developing custom dashboards and analytics tools
    • You are highly curious and willing to dive into data to uncover the truth and discover actionable insights
    • You take ownership of the analytical tools you build and you help users understand proper usage and capabilities, and you apply a product-market fit framework to prioritize what you build
    • You are always asking relevant questions and you know how to find answers within data
    • You are a strong communicator and team player and have experience collaborating across multiple teams and external partners
    • Experience with airline revenue management a plus
