Reporting to the Director of Analytics, this is an individual contributor role that is responsible for designing and developing data enabled solutions that have strategic impact on the business and are built on the latest technologies.
This individual will need to balance a strong command of technical skills along with outstanding soft skills so as to communicate with both senior executives and technical team members. 

Responsibilities 

  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and distill a complex issue into actionable insights for decision makers

  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to solve problems, identify opportunities, and build data infrastructure

  • Analyse data independently to deliver insights about operational performance and proactively drive improvements

  • Investigate key problem areas by performing root cause analyses, corroborating quantitative and qualitative findings

  • Effectively plan and collaborate with functional teams (Product, Service, Revenue) on data driven initiatives to solve complex operational problems

  • Collaborate with operations and data-focused teams within and functional areas of the business to solve problems, develop solutions and share insights

  • Apply data expertise to successfully support cross-functional operational needs

  • Build Reporting tools for different functional areas of the organization for self-serve options

  • Query, transform, analyze and communicate findings effectively to answer ad-hoc analytical needs

  • Drive data strategy in a continuous improvement framework by working with Data professionals

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS/MS in a quantitative field; Full Time diplomas in Data Science is an applicable option

  • 3 - 5 years of experience data, reporting, analytical problem solving

  • Hands on experience deploying models using Python, SQL scripts, Sheets, Tableau, and BQ

  • Experience and understanding of statistical analysis (experimentation logic and biases, hypothesis testing, probability, prevalence measurement, regressions, A/B testing)

  • 2+ years hands on experience in SQL, Python, R, and other languages

  • 2+ years of experience in project managing data-centric projects

  • 2+ years experience supporting  fast-paced company growth through Data 
  • Strong communication skills with experience explaining technical concepts to technical and business partners

 

Nice to Have's 

  • Hands on experience building Interactive Visualizations such as Tableau, Mode, Google BQ.

  • Hands on experience in Programming Languages such as Python, R or any other programming languages

  • Hands on experience deploying models using Python, SQL scripts, Sheets, Tableau, and BQ

  • Experience and understanding of statistical analysis (experimentation logic and biases, hypothesis testing, probability, prevalence measurement, regressions, A/B testing)

  • Ability to make impactful presentations

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functions and time zones

  • Working experience within operational ecosystems
