Summary
We're looking for an experienced analytics engineer to help build data transformation pipelines integrating a few data sources from various parts of the business to drive customer understanding and operational efficiency. Optionally, we’d welcome additional help on the analytics side by building OKR and key metrics dashboards on Metabase for our teams.
Duration of initial engagement: 20 hours a week for 6 weeks
Opportunities of expansion
There is optionality to continue at 5-20 hours a week to help support ad hoc analytics requests or other impactful areas of focus. We have a lot of impactful projects in our backlog including establishing better data quality testing and documentation, moving our DWH from PostgreSQL to Bigquery - depending on what's a good fit!
Scope of work
Build company and team OKR dashboards by leveraging data transformation via DBT and establish initial data pipelines from third-party tools like surveysparrowOptional: Experience with BI tools to translate those models into analytics dashboards
Hourly rate
$35 - $75 depending on experience

Must haves
- 2+ years of experience SQL and Python to write production-quality code to meet the data transformation needs
Nice to haves
- Experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or other BI tools
- Translate business requirements and logic into well-documented data models to drive clarity and efficiency for end-users
