The Role
Pathrise is looking for an Analytics Lead to join our expanding data team. This role will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder and will work closely with other members of the entire product and growth organization. At Pathrise, our product organization contains three top level departments:
- Platform: Powers the technical infrastructure and software for the Pathrise Program
- Career: Provides coaching on a weekly basis to our fellows in our program
- Program: Builds and designs best-in-class service offerings to our fellows
We’re looking for a generalist that can work across a variety of data engineering and analytics domains. You can expect to work cross-functionally across these three teams to identify and execute on opportunities where data-driven insights results in company-wide impact.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on everything from conducting analysis on identifying key program metrics that improve job-seekers placements, driving key technical decisions on our data infrastructure, to managing and coaching other data contributors.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal partners to: identify, define, and clarify business requirements; translating needs into efficient reports and configurations that conform to standard methodologies and provide data driven insights
- Work collaboratively with the platform team such as: Product Managers, Software Engineering to help define and execute on technical requirements from collection, modeling, to reporting
- Provide analysis and insights in close partnership with the product team to support product design and business strategy decisions
- Defining technical units of work for other 1-2 data contributors at Pathrise and manage data initiatives to success
- Developing quality control infrastructure and for our company
- Contribute to documentation, QA, and organization of our analytics tooling
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience, leveraging descriptive data techniques for a product or growth team or similar adjacent spaces
- Experience with SQL and Python or other data centric development languages
- Experience with BI and Product Analytics tools like Metabase and Mixpanel
- Experience focused on feature and usage metrics, funnel analysis, conversion and retention, as well as segmentation metrics
- An ability to uncover data insights to form hypothesis, designing product experiments, evaluating results and making recommendations
- A passion for working with people, able to ask questions, pinpoint issues, and proactively solve for them
- Understand and can tell the story that connects the data back to the business metrics and their impact on the customers and business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tools in our current data stack (DBT, Fivetran, BigQuery, Segment, Metabase, Mixpanel)
- Frontend development proficiency
- Front end web development skills (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
- Experience with forecasting and predictive analytics
