Overview:
In this role, you’ll be modeling data using the open source product data build tool (dbt), advising business stakeholders on the analytics behind their businesses, and mentoring embedded analysts on other teams. This role will write analytic SQL and gain experience working in the ad tech or healthcare industries. If you’ve worked with Looker or Snowflake, amazing. If you prefer a bash terminal to a spreadsheet and cannot fathom life without source control, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:

Model and analyze data

Interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and translate them into product, marketing, and financial insights
-
Leverage various data warehouses, ETL tools and BI platforms for client projects
-
Maintain deliverables, projects, and timelines for your client engagements
-
Communicate findings clearly to a broad range of stakeholders
-
Refactor SQL code
-
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
-
SQL experience with a variety of flavors and dialects, and a deep working knowledge of relational vs dimensional modeling
-
Have a base understanding of data warehouses and business intelligence tools
-
Have at least introductory experience as a data analyst
-
Communicate clearly and directly
-
Be highly motivated to work autonomously, with strong organizational and time management skills

Be passionate about building the best version of whatever you’re working on

Have experience writing analytical Python and/or R
