Precisely PlaceIQ is looking for a smart and curious Associate Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming location data into actionable insights to empower internal operations, expand our marketing capabilities and drive client success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data science, product management, sales, and marketing to support various data analysis projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and implement data visualizations (e.g, maps, charts, graphs, etc.) to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist senior data analysts with data cleaning and transformations using tools such as Scala, SQL, Python, etc.
• Conduct exploratory data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in location data sets.
• Create and maintain informative dashboards to support decision-making processes.
• Help to QC data products that are developed for our clients.
• Partner with Marketing to produce insightful stories to help drive client engagement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address business needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, or Computer Science preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in data analyzation is a plus.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate analyses and insights to clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Working knowledge of Python or similar is a plus.
