Position Overview:
Deep Labs is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing Enterprise Client Services team to lead use and business case creation related to the financial services and payments industries. We are looking for a professional who understands AI and machine learning technologies in order to effectively perform required analysis and provide customer guidance. This role reports to the Head of Enterprise Client Services.
A successful candidate possesses a combination of strong analytical, written and presentation skills as the position is customer facing.
Responsibilities:
- Define and construct industry vertical business cases, system capabilities, requirements and specifications that highlight Deep Labs’ products and services
- Synthesize customer goals/challenges and recommend solutions and actions to address customer needs
- Lead financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic business planning
- Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
- Understand and communicate the business impact of any changes
- Advise on changes to customer using analytics to support the recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes.
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
- Define solutions to meet client needs and address critical issues and business challenges in the Financial Services and Payments space
- Assist in business development activities via written proposals
- Conduct interviews and lead workshops with customers
Experience:
- 3+ years' experience in a dedicated business analyst role in one or more of the following industries: finance, payments, banking, risk, fraud, identity or behavioral analytics
- Proficiency in visualizations and dashboards
- Experience with data modeling techniques, such as classification, clustering, linear regression, time series, etc., a strong plus
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Finance and other quantitative areas
