We are a dynamic team of entrepreneurial professionals with backgrounds in insurance and technology creating a commercial insurance company that combines the latest technology with traditional insurance. You will be instrumental in building systems that identify and analyze actionable data for our users, both internal and external.

Responsibilities

• Manage the generation of reports required by our insurance partners, investors and/or regulatory agencies
• Translate functional requirements into easy-to-use, flexible reporting solutions and dashboards
• Collaborate with business and technical team to perform impact/risk assessments for reporting specific projects
• Assist cross functional teams in the ingestion, cleaning, storage and presentation of data and related findings from data and establishing a defined source of truth
• Champion the utilization of our business intelligence tools by contributing to a central knowledge base for definitions, KPIs and onboarding material to maximize the value of Corvus’ data asset
• Challenge the status quo and bring new fresh ideas in tackling new problems
• Present analyses and findings to management team

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related role including Data Analyst, Business Analyst or similar
• Minimum +1 year developing in Looker, Google’s business intelligence tool, building reports and dashboards
• Comfortable writing, reviewing and tuning SQL queries 
• Detail oriented; quality over quantity mindset
• Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities 
• Experience presenting to various levels of an organization
• Collaborate well with others and are dedicated to the company's success
• Prior experience maintaining and providing administrative support for BI environment preferred (permissions, documentation, training)
• Insurance background preferred
• Relational database experience as Redshift, Postgres a plus
• Proficient with Google Doc and/or Microsoft Office
