What the Role Is:

Socure is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Operations team to support our rapidly growing organization. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, you will be charged with helping transform data into insights that can help improve the value of Socure. In this role, you will be working closely with the commercial teams - sales, customer support, and revenue operations, to define data, reporting, and dashboarding needs. 

By providing data driven analyses and insights at scale, you will be a key contributor to helping Socure deliver against our mission to become the single, trusted source of identity verification and eliminate identity fraud.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with analysts in finance and operations and work cross functionally with Commercial business partners to build a data-driven culture across Socure
  • Build analytics tools and dashboards that deliver insight into key operational and performance goals and metrics at scale
  • Provide reporting support to business leaders, translating business questions into structured analysis and insights 
  • Establish a centralized data dictionary and single source of truth for key metrics used across the company 
  • Document and enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant to the needs of the business and leadership team
  • Help the business intelligence team with data discovery and developing processes for streamlining reporting and data delivery 
  • Train business users on how to read and use reports and dashboards produced by the business intelligence team  
  • Maintain a library of key reports and dashboards used by leadership to make decisions and drive revenue 
  • Be proactive in identifying improvements to existing reports and dashboards to accurately represent Socure’s goals  

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of practical experience in business or reporting analysis
  • Direct experience with analytics and BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI, with a strong preference for Looker (and LookML)
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and reporting, experience in FinTech a plus 
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling to support reporting
  • Strong data comprehension skills - ability to explore and understand new datasets, know how to clean and transform it to answer business questions
  • Experience gathering accurate information and requirements for complex analyses
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs and process
  • Interest in aligning terminology and definitions to foster a common understanding 
  • Self-starter, able to work under tight timetables and high-pressure situations, fluidly shift with changing priorities, and effectively handle ambiguity
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent people, listening and communication skills 
  • Familiarity with data tech stack including Snowflake, DBT, FiveTran a plus
