What you’ll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our Looker instance and the ways stakeholders throughout the organization are leveraging it
  • Own all end to end BI development, including everything from modeling to governance and permissioning
  • Help the analytics team and stakeholders build dashboards and automated reporting
  • Collaborate with analytics engineering and data engineering to mint new dimensions and measures for stakeholder use
  • Own and operate all scheduled reporting, KPI dashboards, and executive reporting
  • Proactively identify the most valuable areas of improvement for business intelligence at Starry

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Expert level knowledge of SQL + LookML
  • Familiar with modern data stack such as DBT, Snowflake, Looker etc.
  • Demonstrated track record of project ownership and working in an autonomous environment
  • Ability to communicate findings to both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Enthusiasm for conducting reproducible analysis; we believe in code review, version control, and solid documentation
  • Ability to successfully prioritize the projects that will have the greatest business impact 
  • Familiarity with a scripting language is a plus, Python preferred
