Role Description:

Working with our VP of Finance and cross-functional partners, you will lead the development of new metrics and dashboards, and provide analytical insights that will serve as the foundation for decision-making at Forage. In this role you will have a significant impact on all aspects of the company’s data and work closely with Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Report a suite of KPIs to leadership on a monthly and quarterly cadence 
• Work closely with FP&A to uncover trends and provide context and recommendations to Senior Leadership around opportunities and risks 
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that monitor and influence key business decisions
• Drive company-wide data democratization and data driven decision making through the adoption of business user friendly BI tools, education and set up 
• Develop and maintain the Business Intelligence roadmap, balancing the tactical and strategic data needs of the business
• Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics for the company and enable internal teams to improve performance using analytics
• Partner with data engineering to improve on data architecture, infrastructure and hygiene

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics developing complicated analysis and creating advanced dashboards in Business Intelligence / Visualization tools (Tableau, Sisense, Looker, Mode, etc.)
• Strong analytical foundation and data-driven approach to understanding a business
• Ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prototype rapidly, iterate quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for finding insights in data and driving change based on those insights
• SQL Proficiency and knowledge of relationship databases
• Experience with R, Python, relational and non-relational databases is preferred.
