What the Role Is:

Socure is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to join our Business Operations team to support our rapidly growing organization. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, you will be charged with leading the Business Intelligence team responsible for transforming data into insights that will continue to improve the value of Socure. In this role, you will be working closely with the product and data engineering teams to collect and define business data, reporting, and dashboarding needs across the organization. 

By providing data driven analyses and insights at scale, you will be a key contributor to helping Socure deliver against our mission to become the single, trusted source of identity verification and eliminate identity fraud.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with leaders in finance and operations and work cross functionally with product, engineering, and business partners to build a data-driven culture across Socure
  • Manage a team of analysts including holding weekly one-on-ones, team meetings, and semi-annual reviews
  • Work with leadership to produce team objectives and key results, and present team goals and objectives to leadership on a quarterly basis
  • Work with product, engineering, and data science to build analytics tools and dashboards that deliver insight into key operational and performance goals and metrics at scale
  • Establish a centralized data dictionary and single source of truth for key metrics used across the company
  • Provide reporting support to business leaders, translating business questions into structured analysis and insights
  • Document and enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant to the needs of the business and leadership team
  • Train business users on how to read and use reports and dashboards produced by the business intelligence team 
  • Maintain a library of key reports and dashboards used by leadership to make decisions and drive revenue
  • Be proactive in identifying improvements to existing reports and dashboards to accurately represent Socure’s goals  

What You'll Bring:

  • Interest in aligning terminology and definitions to foster a common understanding
  • 8+ years of practical experience in business intelligence or reporting analysis
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Self-starter, able to work under tight timetables and high-pressure situations, fluidly shift with changing priorities, and effectively handle ambiguity
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs and process
  • Experience gathering accurate information and requirements for complex analyses
  • Direct experience with analytics and BI tools like Looker, Google Data Studio, or Tableau
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent people, listening and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent tool
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and reporting, experience in FinTech a plus
