Data Analyst
We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our FX Risk & Liquidity team. This role will be
responsible for supporting the FX Risk & Liquidity team in the execution of quantitative and qualitative
analysis to help improve Currencycloud operations performance.
The Details...
Create, analyse and support the delivery of regular and ad hoc reports on operational performance, suggesting improvements and changes where necessary
Develop knowledge and own reports in all FX Risk & Liquidity functions
Build and maintain reporting capabilities to support all parts of the FX Risk & Liquidity team in their deliverables
Ensure data collected and presented is of high quality, putting in place any controls as required
Communicate these findings to varying teams and stakeholders across the business, presenting back ideas and insights in a clear manner
Identify ways in which data can be mined in order to provide insights into departmental, company-wide, and customer behaviour
Create and provide reports for cross-company use relating to FX flows
Identify defects in operational flows/platform/data quality relating the FX Risk & Liquidity team
Continually develop understanding of FX markets
The Role Responsibilities...
Maintain an in-depth understanding of how FX and international payments are handled and
processed
Facilitate an increased understanding across the business of core operational processes
Use data to foster and encourage internally and cross-departmental discussion and improvement
Identify any issues and errors proactively to FX Risk & Liquidity Manager
Essential skills...
Highly numerate, excellent written and verbal communication skills with fantastic attention to detail
Confident using large datasets pulled from different sources
Understanding of FX spot and forward markets
Interest and knowledge in the fintech industry
SQL and/or Python
Tableau or other BI tool
