The Behavioral Intelligence team at Aware is tasked with developing novel predictive and analytic data solutions for the Aware platform, the industry's only purpose-built platform for understanding unstructured collaboration data. 
  
Aware is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Behavioral Intelligence team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing operational insights and reporting on the patterns and character of communications in corporate collaboration networks (such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Workplace from Facebook, and Zoom). 

We are looking for team members who:
- Are interested in working in cross-functional teams of product managers, data scientists, and engineers to understand and fulfill their reporting requirements 
- Embrace data exploration and storytelling utilizing a variety of modeling and visualization tools 
- Have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with non-technical business partners, including the Product, Marketing, and Finance teams 
- Are self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment 

Responsibilities

    • As a Data Analyst at Aware you will embrace the role as the go-to "source of truth" for operational analytics within the Behavioral Intelligence data platform and across the company more broadly.
    • Collaborate with diverse teams from Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to understand operational reporting needs of the various stakeholders 
    • Design and execute data analyses needed to answer the reporting and analytic needs 
    • Implement end-to-end data pipelines capable of feeding real time data products. This will include interacting with a variety of data tools to source, clean, and explore raw and derived data 
    • Engage in data storytelling to communicate learnings to team and business partners 

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, or other data-focused discipline. Advanced degree a plus. 
    • At least 1 year of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related role 
    • Demonstrable experience handling large datasets in SQL, R or Python 
    • Experience with open source and proprietary data visualization tools, such as Shiny, ggplot2, Lattice, plotly, matplotlib, and Tableau
