About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists and senior analysts on a wide range of business problems. You will not only work on large scale projects to provide value to our customers but will also routinely contribute to ad-hoc reports requested from varying stakeholders. At Happify Health, we work on providing analytic solutions to our clients and internal teams in an efficient and tech-driven manner leveraging the current advancements in data science. This role will report directly to the Manager of Data Engineering and Analytics. #LI-Remote

Responsibilities

  • Support work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis and ongoing deliverables
  • Build simple and complex reports to meet internal and external needs, automating where possible
  • Participate in internal and customer facing meetings to explain the results and findings of data analysis
  • Support existing dashboards and reporting
  • Research and develop internal capabilities to enhance the skill sets on latest data science developments, work towards producing innovative solutions to the existing challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of data analysis experience utilizing large diverse data sets
  • Experience developing advanced SQL queries
  • Experience in performance tuning of reporting queries
  • Experience analyzing and conducting critical analysis to derive business insights
  • Experience creating data visualizations that effectively communicate KPIs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment.
