About the Role

We're hiring a Data Analyst to pull data (both from our commercial platform and from randomized studies and clinical trials) for analysis and run reports to support scientific research and address client needs. You will ensure that data collected is accurate, provide cleaned data in the needed format to the research team, and troubleshoot any data issues. This position reports to the Chief Experience Officer, but works closely with the Chief Science Officer and her team to understand data needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visualizations and descriptive analytics for 1-page client data reports.
  • Generate datasets and summary queries, tailored to the needs of the research team for each project.
  • Work with the research team prior to study launch to ensure data is being collected and stored in a way that meets business needs.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve operational or data problems.
  • Validate study data to ensure consistency, integrity and accuracy based on project specific guidelines.
  • Implement and document strategy for querying and cleaning data.
  • Investigate and document data inconsistencies in compliance with standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience in SQL.
  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel; experience with SPSS, Stata, R, Python, macros, or other programming tools is desirable.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with good communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify key insights, potential gaps, and inconsistencies.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Some background in behavioral/clinical research is desirable, but not required.
