Shelf Engine is searching for talented Data Science Analysts to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, build, monitor, and productionalize sophisticated analyses and models to solve complex problems and support the entire product lifecycle -- ideation, risk and opportunity sizing, measurement, experimentation, monitoring, and causal analyses -- for a rapidly evolving product. You’ll support this by applying your expertise in statistics and machine learning alongside your superior business acumen and communication skills, to lead, design, build, and productionalize rigorous and robust analytical methods and solutions.

Your work will drive algorithm development, problem and solution identification, and assess the performance and effects of of numerous models, experiments, human in the loop processes, and difficult-to-quantify pathways and endpoints on an ongoing basis. Your strengths in statistics, machine learning, and quick adaptability to understand business requirements will directly impact of our product -- striking a fine balance between reducing food waste and avoiding understocking situations in the face of the challenging uncertainties of demand, pricing, promotions, supplier capacity, reliability, lead times, inventory optimization, pricing, product nuances, and customer experience.

If you are highly motivated, passionate about digging into data, and want to use statistics and ML to improve the AI product lifecycle, while working collaboratively and making a huge social impact, this is your dream job!
