Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1300 employees nationwide, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.
This is a contract position for 12 months, with hybrid work model. The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics lifecycle to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.

Responsibilities
- Transition existing Data Pipelines and reporting solutions into new Platform in the cloud
- Design and build data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse
- Create and maintain data models that ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and data processing workflows
- Create data visualization utilizing complex data to provide meaningful insights
- Design and maintain databases that support our data processing and analytics needs
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with data regulations
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and reliability
- Develop and maintain documentation for data infrastructure, processes, and workflows
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, machine learning, and automation
Qualifications
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred. Advance Degree may be required
- 4-8 years of experience in data analytics preferred
- Proven experience in designing and implementing database solutions using SQL
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Intermediate level BI dashboarding experience (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with SAP tables and data structures is preferred
