The Data Team at Ollie is responsible for empowering functional teams with the data they need to make data-driven decisions, as well as proactively surfacing actionable insights and recommendations. As the Data Analyst at Ollie, you will be the subject matter expert on our customers. This critical role will sit at the intersection of the data, digital and retention teams and be responsible for proactively and self-sufficiently delivering actionable insights to drive customer retention.

Responsibilities

    • Dive deep into the data to proactively identify trends, behaviors and opportunities, such as delivery pushbacks and subscription changes, to provide actionable insights and identify new opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the Retention, Customer Experience, Logistics and Digital Teams to understand underlying experience issues throughout the customer’s lifecycle.
    • Monitor performance trends with channel managers and deliver recommendations on channel and spend optimization.
    • Work with the product and retention teams to identify data gaps and new opportunities for data collection.
    • Develop automated, insightful and actionable dashboards and pipelines that support business stakeholders’ self-service data needs and allow them to make decisions quickly
    • Design and conduct A/B and multivariate tests. Develop test plans, define a hypothesis and relevant success metrics, analyze and transform raw data into actionable insights, and distribute test results to stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

    • 2-3 years of experience in the data analytics field with a focus on customer lifecycle or retention analytics.
    • Familiarity with ecommerce KPIs and experience in delivering data-driven decisions to stakeholders.
    • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and BI tools.
    • Strong command of basic statistics.
    • Solution-oriented, independent, and able to communicate across different departments.

Bonus Points

    • Segment and Iterable experience strongly preferred
    • Looker development experience preferred
