What will you do:

The role of Data Analyst, Finance reports to the Head of Data Science, and you will be working closely with our finance team to uncover trends and tendencies in the revenue and provide them with a solid analytics base. You will lay the foundation for high-quality decision making, drive experimentation, and help define how success is measured.

In particular, you will:

• Directly support our senior leadership with ad-hoc reports, robust financial models, and research on users and user behavior
• Develop and monitor important business metrics, including user growth, cohort retention, virtual currency modeling, marketing performance, and user funnels
• Perform research analysis to understand current performance, analyze trends, and contribute to project prioritization
• Identify and curate 3rd party data to enrich our primary data sources
• Support our financial & accounting teams with relevant data

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or related technical field or proven track record in a quantitative / problem-solving environment
• 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst and/or Systems Analyst for tech products
• Expert SQL skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially communication around data
• Experience with data tools (Python, R, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with forecasting or predictive modeling to manage critical business operations is a bigger plus
