Summary:

The Growth Marketing team at Age of Learning is looking for an innovative mind with a strong technological background eager to apply advanced analytical concepts to drive business insights. This position will be responsible for creating key executive and department reports, maintaining data integrity, and providing high-level statistical analysis using machine learning, regression models, and predictive analytics. This role will support the marketing team in measuring their objectives, providing account managers with the tools and data they need to help optimize their channels, and deliver creative analytical solutions to assess the efficacy of both direct and non-attributable marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

    • Analyze large data sets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making including, but not limited to, regression, predictive LTV, and lift/incrementality analysis.
    • Apply advanced statistical analysis to develop models and algorithms used in the prediction, analysis, and diagnosis of media campaigns.
    • Ingest and clean data to help identify correlations between numerous marketing variables to help guide marketing strategy.
    • Create analytical reports and intuitive tools to help account managers optimize their KPIs and diagnose problems.
    • Present and visualize findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including executives, clearly and concisely.
    • Assist in the development of scalable data management and analytics strategies.
    • Proactively perform data exploration to discover future testing opportunities by channel, product mix, customer segment
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data science.

Projects (inclusive of, but not limited to):

    • Build automated dashboards to create comprehensive data view toolsets for digital marketing managers and executives to identify areas of campaign optimization and insights into new opportunities, utilizing tools like Tableau, and Snowflake Data warehousing.
    • Utilize statistical methods to identify cross-channel correlations that give the team insight into the inter-relational effects of campaigns across multiple networks, including the efficacy of non-directly attributable brand campaigns such as TV and Influencers
    • Applying skills in Python or R to create/maintain an MMM model or lift analysis that accounts for external variables to enable the team to assess marketing efficiency beyond direct attribution.
    • Create realistic forecasting models based on external trends to aid with campaign optimization.
    • Become a key stakeholder managing reports, developing KPIs, and refining predictive LTVs for future Age of Learning products.

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 2+ years professional experience analyzing marketing/media data across web and mobile.
    • Experience with working with marketing KPIs, ideally with a focus on user acquisition and growth programs.
    • Understanding of KPIs from key acquisition channels such as Facebook, Bing, Apple, and other industry standard digital ad buying platforms. Experience with affiliate networks and KPIs is a plus.
    • Understanding of bid optimization strategies including PPC, CPC, CPA, and CPM and how these strategies help drive associated company KPIs.
    • Experience with creating, refining, and maintaining predictive LTV models, ideally supporting a free-to-play product driven by microtransactions.
    • Experience evaluating incrementality and measuring the impact of non-attributable channels like TV/CTV using advanced models such as MMM or other regression-based analytical methodologies.
    • Experience working with large company data sets and using SQL and/or Tableau to cross join multiple tables to solve complex questions.
    • In depth knowledge of data software such as Snowflake SQL, Tableau and Excel
    • Technical proficiency in Python, R, Statistical Modeling
    • Knowledge of or experience using one or more of the following would be beneficial: Web attribution and tag management platforms, Mobile MMP platforms, Web Analytic tools (Google Analytics, etc), Programmatic (Criteo, Sizemek, etc.), Media Mix Modeling tools (LightweightMMM and/or Robyn)
    • Proven analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
    • Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation.
    • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
$90,000 - $125,000 a year
The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $90,000 USD to $125,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
