We are seeking a multifaceted data analyst who will own software tooling for resource and capacity planning, resource management, and analytics! We are looking for this individual to use, test, and maintain these tools and use them to build insights into initiatives, personnel count, skills, capacity, and costs enabling effective planning, execution and tracking of initiatives. The analyst will also help develop solutions to improve the company’s ability to dynamically scale and prioritize for initiatives based on timelines, personnel skill, and capacity, current and forecasted resource needs and synergies across efforts.


Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement data governance standards, policies, and procedures
  • Evaluate current state metadata capture strategies and implement process improvements
  • Develop and implement strategies and solutions to remediate identified data management and data governance concerns
  • Understanding and translating business definitions into fully classified descriptions while working closely with Data Stewards
  • Identifying and assessing data quality metrics
  • Clearly articulating data architecture/modeling techniques and concepts profiling data and derive context
  • Ability to take customer/user needs and translate to technical requirements for resource management and planning tool developers to build and enhance tooling features.
  • Test tools to ensure that required quality, functionality, and performance are met.
  • Work with tool development partners to resolve bugs and issues.
  • Conduct training sessions, create documentation and presentations to help adoption of resource planning tools.
  • Implement data and business analytics, import manipulate data, identify integrations in the tooling environment, build data visualizations and reports, presentations to optimally communicate resourcing insights in a concise, visual, and easy to understand way.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative field such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or Finance. Two (2) years work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics. Proficient in analytics software and applications.
  • Experience with resource management, project planning and tracking tools such as runn.io, smartsheet, Kantata, Monday.com, ADO considered a plus.
  • Experience with creating dashboards and developing insights using Power BI or Tableau
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability with interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Robust problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring data timeliness, fidelity and quality.

Domicile / Relocation Information:
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. 
The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include but are not limited to your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
