Here’s what that would mean for you in the Data Analyst II role. 

Caring

    • You’ll care about delivering quality data to patients, supporting our clients to provide quality data, and leading other data analysts to do the same.

Ownership

    • You will be the data subject matter and cost methodology expert with clients and fellow team members.
    • You will be scrum master for the team.
    • You will implement improvements to scale current data implementations.
    • You’ll report to the Data Operations Manager in the Operations department within the Health Plan business unit of the Company.

Respect: How You’ll Use Your Professional Skills

    • You’ll use your 3+ years of experience in data analysis and configuration: 
    • Ingest, process, and analyze health care data with tools that require experience using Python, R, SQL, Bash, Google Cloud Platform Data Pipeline tools, and Tableau.
    • Provide clients with detailed validation reporting and research on complex data questions.
    • Proactively and effectively communicate with clients and team members using Confluence, Jira, and Slack.
    • You’ll use your project management and team leadership skills to: 
    • Coordinate the team efforts to complete the current backlog of work most effectively and efficiently.
    • Coordinate training of Data Analyst I team members and participate in the hiring process of Data Analyst I team members.
    • Be a self-starter and know when to seek the help of others.
    • Be comfortable with prioritizing your own and other’s work.
    • Look forward to collaborating with diverse teams across the organization to ensure the success of a client.

    • You’ve completed several implementations and sustainment work for multiple clients in all cost data products.
    • You’ve managed the backlog of work for you and your team in a timely manner.
    • You have a complete understanding of the client and data lifecycle.

    • Individuals in the Data Analyst II role can move in a more linear career path along two tracks - individual contributor and management. The next step in the process will be Senior Data Analyst. From there, individuals can become a Data Operations Manager.
