About the role:

Cameo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to support our product & marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, have strong analytical skills, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As a Data Analyst Intern at Cameo, you will report to the Lead Data Scientist, and work closely with the data team to help improve the platform's overall user experience.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various sources, including user behavior, sales, and marketing campaigns.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders across the company.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business decisions, such as pricing strategies, feature prioritization, and user segmentation.
• Help maintain and improve the data infrastructure, including data pipelines and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to support data-driven decision-making.

What you’ll need:

• Ability to work 20+ hours per week starting as soon as possible.
• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Experience with dbt is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
