About the role:

Come join us in our mission to create the most personalized and authentic fan connections on earth. We are looking for an experienced leader to lead the Product analytics team, reporting to VP, Operations, Strategy and Analytics, and working closely with our Co-Founder and Head of Product

This role is responsible for the research, ideation, experimentation and analytics necessary to continue to innovate on our products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills, an eagerness to work cross-functionally, curiosity to learn more every day, and patience to work through difficult problems.

This leader will need to be a deft influencer. The Product and Engineering teams are tasked with a broad roadmap and the need to span the core product as well as the new strategic bets for the business. This involves a large number of stakeholders who need to be partnered with to develop the product that powers the company’s business.

You will also work closely with your counterparts in other functions to make sure that we connect the dots across the business. You will balance a consultative approach with passion for details that will make you a trusted analytics & strategy leader, a valued thought partner to the Product leadership team, and a strong partner to the entire organization.

This is a critical leadership role in the company, with significant responsibility and ability to make a far-reaching impact on our business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead a team of Product Analysts, providing mentorship and coaching as well as technical leadership to build a world-class product analytics powerhouse
  • Partner cross-functionally with our Product and Engineering teams, build a rapport and be a trusted advisor to team members
  • Partner with the Data and Engineering teams to build out our core experimentation and measurement frameworks, and to develop dashboards for consumption by executive teams and cross-functional leaders
  • Proactively explore data and identify opportunities to help accelerate new product development or improve existing products
  • Address ambiguous problems and formulate hypotheses into actionable and well-designed experiments; Own the design, execution, and analysis of experiments to enable data-driven decision making
  • Leverage experimentation and analytics to enable the product to evolve to best serve the Fan and Talent needs
  • Help build a culture of data-informed decision making across the business

What you bring to the table:

  • Passion for Cameo, expertise in Product Analytics, and drive to build a world-class Product Analytics function
  • 8+ years of experience in an analytically rigorous role, and 4+ years of product analytics experience, preferably with a strong foundation in statistics, and experimentation
  • Experience with building and managing analytical teams
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages
  • Ability to be a thought-partner with Product, Engineering and Design on how the product should evolve and how Analytics can help influence the roadmap
  • ‘What’s right for the business’ mindset, ‘hypothesis first’ approach to defining and solving problems; Experience identifying the key insights that a business needs to make great, fast decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to influence the company agenda
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence across different teams in the organization
  • History of proven success (progressive career, promotions, etc), and ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
  • Ability to adapt to a culture of an ever-growing rocketship company that embraces and commits to change.
  • Humility and compassion; Sense of humor and a strong work ethic
