What You'll Do

  • Design, develop and automate high-quality, scalable solutions across the entire data lifecycle, from raw data to powerful insights and analytics.
  • Build and develop a self-service BI and reporting product solution to provide value and insights to our leadership and business teams
  • Leverage extensive data modeling knowledge to design and deliver best-in-class analytics-ready data sets that result in high adoption of our transformed data
  • Work with a cross functional team of architects, engineers, analysts and scientists to understand business requirements and guides event schema creation.
  • Design, develop and automate high-quality, scalable solutions across the entire data lifecycle, from raw data to powerful insights and analytics.
  • Cleans and transforms raw data into consumable information and business logic, curates user-ready datasets and visualization tools
  • Expands our data warehouse with clean data ready for analysis
  • Conducts data validation/QA to ensure it is of high quality, documents all business logic, and ensures data models are running reliably in a production environment.
  • Partners with Data Engineering and Infrastructure teams to help define and improve our internal data infrastructure

What We're Looking For:  

  • 5+ years experience querying and performing data manipulation, ideally using SQL and Spark
  • 5+ years experience with cloud computing platforms, we use AWS (Kinesis, S3, Lambda or DynamoDB would also work)
  • Has experience with ANSI SQL relational database (Oracle, SQL, Postgres, MySQL)
  • 5+ years experience building self-service and guided reporting & analytical solutions using BI tools (QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau CRM, SSRS)
  • 5+ years working in a data product organization, with significant experience around user-based design plus user-based adoption KPIs/metrics
  • Experience with ETL tools (AWS Glue, Hevo Data, etc.)
  • Experience with GitHub and CICD processes.
  • Experience leading and driving projects and initiatives to completion
  • Ability to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamically changing business environment
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated and ability to learn quick
  • Ability to exchange ideas and convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Excellent understanding of development processes and agile methodologies
  • Experience with data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema & Multi-Dimensional Modeling)
  • General knowledge of distributed systems and distributed data processing frameworks
  • Experience with AWS (S3, Redshift, Kinesis)
  • Knowledge about agile software processes
