Healthline, a Red Ventures Brand, is looking for an innovative Senior Data Product Manager to find solutions, craft strategy, set standards, and deliver products powered by large-scale and unique data sets across the organization.

In this role, you will work closely with our Data teams and Product Managers. You will collaborate with stakeholders in every part of the organization, including sales, finance, data & yield, business intelligence, engineering, editorial, and marketing. You will closely collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs that align with our business strategy and leverage our data infrastructure to unlock visibility and insights.

The product suite you deliver will alter the landscape of data and analytics products, and shape the future of self-service analytics, while building a strong data foundation, enabling faster business insight and supporting sound decision making. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, strong analytical and quantitative skills, and a deep understanding of digital publishing data products.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage roadmaps and priorities for systems, workflows, product enhancements, and troubleshooting related to the data platforms that support our digital publishing business, including sales CRM, order management/inventory forecasting, ad platforms, content management systems, billing systems, and traffic analytics
  • Leverage data (across Healthline and the market) to uncover key insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to build insights and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions that help to provide efficiency within the relevant teams, including the development of tools, processes, systems, and reports
  • Advise on and advocate for implementation and use of our data products to encourage data-driven focused discovery and a data-driven experience for our stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining the data product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short- and long-term releases
  • Collect and analyze data to determine product direction and define business requirements.
  • Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for data product offerings
  • Manage the entire data product line life cycle from sunsetting legacy products to prototyping and testing new features/products and ideas
  • Drive buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships for data products
  • Lead and participate in planning meetings and provide advice and guidance on the direction of data products
  • Develop metrics to assess the success of data products and features and determine necessary enhancements

What We're Looking For:

  • A passion for data, statistics, and solving problems - with a curiosity to always be learning and uncovering new tools and techniques - not satisfied with the status quo
  • Deep understanding of and experience with digital systems including or similar to Google Ad Manager (fka DFP) or other ad servers, FatTail/Operative or other OMS, IAS, Salesforce, AdJuster, Workday, Tableau, Wordpress or other CMS, email marketing systems, and Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills, must be able to uncover insights through SQL queries
  • Can see beyond the data and proactively anticipate the next step or question
  • Strong capacity to work with internal partners to improve processes and develop best practices.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
  • Positive influence on team working processes and culture
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising metrics and current industry and data trends
  • Smart and quick proactive learner with organizational agility and strong attention to detail. Willingness and ability to learn and do whatever is needed to see a project through to completion
  • Strong desire to deliver market-leading products and inspire others in the team
  • Effectively escalate challenges internally and provide potential solutions
  • Strong communication skills: ability to translate quantitative details into clear, succinct summaries and recommendations and influence decisions regarding trade-offs for peers, sales, and executive audiences. Possess an ability to work effectively and interface with both the sales team and product teams. Must be comfortable communicating at all levels from C-Suite to junior team members.
  • A thought leader in the organization, leveling up Product and Data culture across the company
  • A proven ability to do both tactical work and set an overall strategy when working on a project.
  • Education: BA/BS in a relevant field and 5+ years of digital systems experience
