Qualifications

Qualifications required:

1. Superior interpersonal and administrative skills to provide written and oral reports with conclusions, alternatives and recommendations on agency policies, projects, or studies for DHS.
2. Ability to plan, organize and direct team and task force efforts across organizational lines, including the ability to monitor progress to ensure that realistic objectives and milestones are established, to clearly assign responsibilities, and to get mission requirements accomplished in a timely manner.
3. Ability to apply analytical techniques in innovative ways and summarize analysis results in briefings or written reports for non-technical audience.
4. Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, and to present well-considered and sound suggestions.
5. Knowledge of operational data (USBP, OFO, AMO, and/or TRADE) is a plus.
6. This assignment requires the use of a government-issued laptop and cell phone, which must be issued by the employee's home office.
7. Occasional travel may be required.
