Position Overview: 

PerfectServe is looking for a Data Engineer, Analytics to grow our Analytics Team as we build amazing customer solutions that dive deep into our vast data in the healthcare space. You will be responsible for delivering customer solutions, leading technical discussions, requirement gathering, and fostering collaboration with other teams within PerfectServe. As a Data Engineer, you are an expert in software development and delivery, able to work well with a diverse team. You will be required to work on end-to-end design, construction & maintenance of data solutions that enable analytic services. Your team will have Architects, Analysts, Scrum Masters and Product Managers. You will be supported by your peers and leadership: a team of strong technical people leaders. The features you deliver will be extensible and provide high value impact to the healthcare communication space. You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager, Analytics to build an advanced analytics and reporting solution.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaboratively design, implement and improve data integrations and automated data quality frameworks
  • Working within a team of BI analysts to maintain, build, automate all reporting assets
  • Analysis, delivery of business requests/issues/requirements, and conducting quality assurance testing for all BI deliverables supporting various business functions
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills required to work cross functionally with business users, other analysis teams, development teams, and IT teams
  • Deliver on projects and data strategies that directly support key business drivers
  • Work with and present to various management levels
  • Maintain and expand your knowledge of BI and current technology through training opportunities

You Bring to the Team:

  • At least 3 years of cumulative development experience SQL, Python, data visualization and NoSQL (ex. Postgres, Snowflake, Looker and the ELK stack)
  • You are highly analytical and understand the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets
  • You have the ability to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations
  • Experience with DataOps pipelines and CI/CD tooling
  • Expertise in data storage and movement, including relational and big data
  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to influence and guide team members
  • The ability to work independently, as part of a team, and cross-functionally within the organization
  • You are a self starter who is comfortable working with and presenting to all management levels
  • A growth mindset, always looking to learn and experience new things
