The role
As a Data Engineer at ONE, you'll build the data transformation pipelines and reporting infrastructure that serve our customers and run our company. Besides writing, reviewing, and shipping code, you'll collaborate with others across the company from Product, Design, and Data to Sales, Compliance, and Customer support. To be successful, you'll need to be highly technical, communicative, and emotionally intelligent.
This role is responsible for:
Building and maintaining ONE's data infrastructure
Developing and owning ONE's streaming data transformation pipeline
Managing and supporting reporting and analytics tools
Collaborating closely with our Data Analysts and Data Scientists
Tracking and defining metrics around performance
You bring
3-5 years of experience in Apache Spark, Pyspark, Databricks, Hive, or other relevant big data platforms
Fundamentals of coding, data structures, and data modeling
Some amount of experience building, shipping — and growing — non-trivial products & services
Passion for your craft, people and our mission, which includes valuing quality across code, communication, and culture
