Workit Health is a rapidly growing telemedicine B-corporation in search of driven sales professionals passionate about connecting those struggling with opioid and alcohol use disorder to Workit’s medication and online therapy program.

As a Specialist in Data Engineer, you will be working setting up the underlying infrastructure that will support an analytics platform. This suite of applications will implement technologies from AWS to consolidate data from 3 - 4 sources for standardization and analytics. This platform for be responsible for a daily consolidation of data from an SQL database, FTP file endpoint, and various RESTful endpoints, processing to remove sensitive information, and preparation for export and further reporting algorithms.

This role will need to successfully:

Create systems capable of automatically consolidating disparate data sources.

Process sensitive data to anonymize and standardize into a format fit for furter analytics.

Develop a fundamental understanding of our data schema, and a desire to be thoughtful in the design of our data architecture and how we will construct a scalable data model.

Manage and build an architecture of applications that connects to AWS infrastructure and manages consolidation and processing of various data sources. Process and standardize data to prepare for analytics and further visualization. The 2 core purposes of a Specialist in Data Enineer at Workit Health is to:

Help us understand how our business is growing, and identify patterns that help our company make smarter decisions.

Create a valuable infrastructure that will server our data needs in the long term, and ultimately make our patient experience better.

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Engineering or related field OR experience working with relevant technologies.

2+ years’ experience with PostgreSQL.

Proficiency with Python.

Experience using AWS technologies, specifically Glue, Redshift.

Experience setting up routine, automated consolidation of data sources.

Ability to manage snapshots of a database over time and configure an environment that can accurately run analytics against these snapshots.

Experience using a RESTful API to fetch data for analytics purposes.

Results oriented with strong organizational & interpersonal skills

Ability to function independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision

Proficient with Google programs such as Gmail, Hangouts, Docs, Sheets and Calendar

Recent and proven success in the healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or addiction treatment industries preferred

Experience in behavioral health is a plus
