Drilling into the details:

We are looking for a full stack data expert, willing to learn, combining the role of Data Engineer with supporting Data Analyst, to help us build a foundation for advanced data analytics capabilities. You'll be working with Product Managers to take data throughout its lifecycle – acquisition, integration, data cleaning, exploration, analysis, interpretation and visualization. You will be creating the pipeline for data management, data visualization, and analytics products, including automated services, and APIs.

You seek to grow your expertise in the different infrastructures, tools and applications, and stages of advanced analytic workflows. You are inventive and passionate about streamlining and automating data acquisition, and possess a highly structured approach to problem solving.

You will be the go-to person for end-to-end data handling, management and analytics processes.

  • You will Ingest data-sources into analytical database
  • Structure data into a scalable and easily understood architecture
  • You’ll turn data discoveries and ideas into models and insights. You’ll find how to leverage the data and the models to create and improve products for our customers, in lean development cycles.
  • Write queries, perform ad hoc data analysis, and create data visualizations to keep our operations running at full speed
  • Be able to implement/build methodologies as well as (understand how to) scale them together with the businesses
  • Maintain a good, current and demonstrable knowledge of data applications and market developments both for inspiration and for benchmarking the concepts
  • Support to Product Managers in developing new KPIs/metrics to identify trends and measure product performance

About you

  • You’ll already have 5+ years of work experience developing a best-in-class understanding of databases, data pipelines, data relationships and data integrity
  • You hold BSc or MSc in a computational field or another relevant area
  • Experience in the domain of large-scale data management, visualization and analytics
  • Understanding of OLAP systems architectures, recent trends in data analytics and technologies
  • Hands-on experience including programming to implement pipelines integrating database management systems, cleaning data, data reconciliation and improving data quality
  • Expertise in Python, data processing libraries (e.g. Spark) and SQL
  • Knowledge of different SQL and non-SQL databases
  • Familiarity with BI visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Plotly)
  • Familiarity with AWS environment and tools is a plus
  • Curious, proactive, fast learner able to quickly picking up new areas
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a scale-up environment where you must create and implement ideas end-to-end by yourself
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
