Responsibilities:
- End to end testing for data pipelines, data structuring, data transformations, and data accuracy
- Provide planning, construction, and execution of automated test scripts.
- Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet data quality standards expected by the stakeholders.
- Work closely with the stakeholders to understand the requirements to design and execute test cases.
- Create and maintain the defect tracking process.
Requirements:
- Create test strategies to ensure that data stored in the warehouse is accurate and reliable
- Develop test cases to analyze/compare the source and target of the data pipelines
- Develop a regular monitoring system to showcase data quality metrics
- Ensure that the data is delivered with the expected format and structure(transformations).
- Review and recommend improvements to existing data pipelines and QA processes.
- Develop new testing tools and processes to achieve desired data quality.
- Implement continuous process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
- Maintain the automated test environment and perform tests based on the time taken for the data flow(sync lag).
- Analyze test results and support developers in bug fixing activities.
- Maintain QA documentation and generate test reports for management.
- Provide support in the design, development, and production phases of data projects.

SQL/Python/Data Warehousing/ETL Testing

Cloud Data Tools, Redshift, Bigquery, AWS Glue, Airflow
