We are looking for a leader in our Data Engineering team to work closely with Data Analyst, Data Scientist,Product Managers, Business function leaders to support big bets and culture of experimentation by building the data architecture that informs and drives insights. The perfect candidate will have strong data infrastructure and data architecture skills, a proven track record of leading and scaling data engineering teams, strong operational skills to drive efficiency and speed, strong project management leadership, and a strong vision for how DE can proactively improve on business goals.

Note: This role is open to Manager or Senior Manager based on experience of the candidate.

In this role, you will:

• Proactively drive the vision for modern data architecture across the enterprise, and define and execute on a plan to achieve that vision.
• Drive the design, building, and launching of new data models and data pipelines to solve for specific project needs and broader organization level data goals.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Product Managers, Business Owners and Engineers to understand data needs and deliver on those needs.
• Build out data solution that enables ‘self-service’, data exploration and data trust by balancing short term and long term business needs
• Manage the enterprise data strategy and data contracts with interval and external data stakeholders/partners.

You will be successful if you have:

• A strategic mindset with focus on execution, with emphasis on developing talent
• 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering and BI.
• 4+ years of experience leading 5+ team members
• Proficiency with DataWarehouse and database platforms like Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, BigQuery and SQL is required.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
• Hands on manager passionate about architecting highly scalable analytical solution
• Expertise in modern data architecture solution, framework and tools for e.g: snowflake, databricks, Python,Airflow,SQL etc.
• Knowledge in different data model design principles, dimension modeling and other techniques for highly scalable analytics
• Preferred: Worked in a eCommerce, Subscription or DTC brand
