Position Summary
A Virtuous Data Migration Engineer will be in charge of extracting, mapping, formatting, and importing client data from legacy systems to Virtuous for our biggest and most sophisticated nonprofit customers. Common legacy systems include but are not limited to Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, eTapestry, Salesforce, DonorPerfect, Donor Direct, etc.
They must understand data structure, determine data relationships and become a Virtuous expert to properly map data into the most strategic areas within Virtuous. Virtuous Data Migration Engineers manage migrations that are most often seen as complex and custom, without a predetermined mapping structure.
Exceptional time management, organization, and the ability to work with a project manager to set and meet deadlines is a necessity. This is a customer facing role with an average of 6-12 hours of customer facing time per week.
This role, though collaborative, will require a self driven individual who is extremely detail oriented and is comfortable problem solving complex data issues. Must have an aptitude for learning software.
