About the Role

The Data Operations Analyst will use their expertise in data, analytics, and process management to build, maintain, and improve analytics products, support the usage of these products through implementations and ad-hoc analytics requests, and support the enterprise data and analytics team for project and process management.
  • Perform analyses and deliver recommendations to support clinical, business, operational, and other strategic priorities. Output will be delivered as static reports, interactive dashboards, and/or slide presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Bring together multiple sources of complex data to design and develop reports to answer clinical and business questions
  • Collaborate with Client Success on developing relevant and actionable data-based insights for each client
  • Partner with Sales to provide high quality estimates of patient care and financial impact
  • Provide analytics support to the Clinical team to uncover clinical insights that will improve patient care
  • Create and ensure availability and use of oncology benchmarking and physician comparative data for health plans and physician groups
  • Provide analytics support to the Operations team to help increase efficiencies, improve quality, and expand understanding of the business
  • Automate analytical data builds and report workflows
  • Provide new health plan implementations support
  • Participate in client-facing calls to obtain specifications, requirements, and other implementation-specific artifacts
  • Support new client UM implementations by loading and testing new configurations and facilitating release updates with the platform vendor
  • Work with client services and implementation team to be a subject matter expert on application configuration and functionality
  • Provide production support
  • Identify problems plus intake, triage and resolve client ticket and change requests related to the technology platform and data operations, including authorization file error resolution
  • Collaborate with external platform vendor to issue development tickets, escalate issues and monitor production release communications
  • Follow best practice for data quality and governance
  • Ensure high-quality data is collected
  • Provide quality assurance of data and results
  • Embed proper security protocols within all data, workflows, and reports
  • Ensure proper documentation of work and processes
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
  • 2-4 years of experience in data processing and analysis of insurance claims, electronic health records (EMR), Real-World Data, or clinical trials data is required
  • Familiarity with Oncology pharmaceuticals preferred
  • Advanced programming skills using SQL and Python is a must
  • Basic knowledge of statistics, data visualization skills, and good communication skills, particularly the ability to easily explain complex ideas to non-technical audiences, are also required
  • Systems/Tools: MS Office Suite advance, MS SQL Server Management Studio, Databricks, and MS PowerBI are required
  • Azure DevOps and Tableau experience a plus!
About the Location

OncoHealth is committed to remote, hybrid or in office work options.  The majority of the team will be remote or in hybrid work arrangements with offices in Atlanta, GA and Guaynabo, PR.  We are open to employees nationwide but work primarily in the Eastern and Central Time Zones.

Our Current Solutions

Through the use of OncoHealth's utilization management system, OneUM, our customers can use a single e-Prior Authorization portal for all oncology drug request and treatments. Our system improves quality of care, reduces provider abrasion and gives health plans visibility into the total cost of oncology treatment.   

OncoHealth offers Oncology Insights Pro, an analytic software solution that enables health plans to use data and analytics to improve oncology programs.  Using real world data, our engineers normalize data to create analytic dashboards with drill down compatibilities.  The data is the paired with expert guidance providing the strategies an insight needed to keep up with the continuing evolving cancer treatment landscape.   

OncoHealth offers Pharmacy Consulting services to health plans and pharmaceutical companies.  New cancer treatments are entering the market at an unrelenting pace.  Since 2018, the FDA approved 121 new cancer applications including 49 novel cancer drug entities.  Our Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacologists can help health plans update drug policies, offer utilization management and formulary advice, and development training for staff.
