Data QA Engineer:
We are looking for a Data QA Engineer with an analytical approach and a keen eye for detail to join the team that delivers software solutions of high quality. As a Data QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating data pipelines and ensuring data accuracy of the data sets. You will work very closely with the cross-functional development team to ensure the highest level of quality.
You will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, managing test data, and utilizing testing methodologies to ensure the quality and performance.
A strong candidate will have the ability to research, innovate, and think outside the box.
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of Wurl’s data integrity monitoring, reproducing, and documenting issues.
- Work with the Data and ML development team to design and implement testing strategies.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze test results and collaborate with the development team to isolate and debug issues.
- Implement CI automation for the data delivery flows.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of QA automation experience, including design and implementation
- Strong scripting skills in Python or similar scripting languages are essential for this role
- Strong knowledge in SQL and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is a key requirement for this position.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and machine learning models
- Experience in implementing CI automation techniques
- Knowledge of AWS services
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Git source control
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Curiosity to learn and willingness to share knowledge with the team are highly valued traits
A Plus if you have:
- Streaming video delivery experience.
- Knowledge of streaming video formats.
- Knowledge of Advertising infrastructure
- Familiarity with Snowflake and writing Snowflake queries
- Location: US remote.

Wurl provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this [CA based or North America based] position is $121,000 - $167,000. Base compensation at Wurl is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
