About Neo4j:

Neo4j is the leader in graph database technology. As the world’s most widely deployed graph database, we help global brands – including Comcast, NASA, UBS and Volvo – to reveal and predict how people, processes and systems are interrelated. Using this relationships-first approach, applications built using Neo4j tackle connected data challenges such as analytics and artificial intelligence, fraud detection, real-time recommendations and knowledge graphs.

Our Vision:

At Neo4j, we have always strived to help the world make sense of data.

As business, society and knowledge become increasingly connected, our technology promotes innovation by helping organizations to find and understand data relationships. We created, drive and lead the graph database category, and we’re disrupting how organizations leverage their data to innovate and stay competitive.

Graph Data Science (GDS) is the fastest growing area of our business and we’re looking for a teammate that is passionate about illustrating the power of using graph technology for analytics and machine learning. The GDS team is a high-performing group that spans multiple organizations, loves to beat expectations, and has a quirky sense of fun.

This Data Science Product Specialist role requires a deep technical understanding of graphs and machine learning.  Reporting through product marketing and working closely with product management, you’ll be key in enabling our sales team to successfully demonstrate and explain the role of graph data science, and teach new audiences about how to use our products.

As a versatile team member, you’ll help us identify new opportunities and have responsibilities to:

    • Educate, Persuade and Excite: You love helping organizations understand how to best leverage innovative technology, like GDS, through the creation of evaluation guides, architecture, and infrastructure white papers, and vertical-specific use-case-focused content. Develop explainer material (videos, blogs, etc.) to reach new audiences about the possibilities of combining graphs for analytics and data science. Assist with in-platform content from videos to notebooks that illustrate key concepts and functionality.
    • Demonstrate the Power of GDS: Be a go-to expert for technical hands-on demonstrations using Neo4j and the Graph Data Science library. This will include internal and external events from training to analyst briefings.
    • Accelerate Field Success: Create canned GDS demonstration guides for the field to use with prospects. Tease out Neo4j differentiation from alternatives and assist with competitive analysis and collateral.
    • Be the GDS Technology Trends Expert: Understand the ins and outs of the graph analytics and data science market, conduct analysis of emerging technologies and be a go-to expert for evolving technologies.

Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in technical marketing, product management, or data science
    • Technical, hands-on experience building data science projects
    • Proficiency with Neo4j (preferred) or other network science packages (NetworkX, StellarGraph, igraph, etc)
    • Familiarity with common data science libraries (scikitlearn, tensorflow, pytorch) and/or ML platforms (H20.ai, dataiku, knime, databricks)
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to lead with a point of view
    • Experience building compelling content and narratives
    • Training or instructional experience
    • Organizational skills to manage competing projects with tight deadlines effectively

Bonus Points:

    • Public speaking experience
    • Experience working with enterprise sales teams and providing enabling tools/training
