Mentors fewer senior staff. Leads cross functional projects and programs. Routinely works on multiple highly complex assignments concurrently.

Job Specific Information:

You will oversee a team of analytics engineers and data analysts whose primary responsibility will be to develop data products and strategic insights to drive ‘ease-of-use' improvements at critical points in our digital applications.  Fedex will be relying on you to be helping pinpoint issues related to logging in, paying a bill, submitting claims and more.  These are core functions of our product that must work properly for our digital applications to grow and be successful. Your contribution in this role will be instrumental in advancing our analytics capabilities and driving impactful, data-driven innovation within our organization.

Analytics Framework Development:

  • Develop analytics frameworks that set our digital applications up for success
  • Be diligent in framing solutions that solve the root of the question we’re trying to answer; look beyond the metrics and make sure we’re getting to the heart of what matters
  • Understand where our data has limitations; identify opportunities to leverage experimentation and partner with Research to fill gaps in storytelling
  • Match a business need with a proper analytics solution; e.g. identify when it’s necessary to build a dashboard or if a one-time analysis will suffice
  • Take action in developing relationships with external teams to understand our data. Identify gaps in our storytelling and work with data engineering to procure new data sources.


Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

  • Functional knowledge of the larger Product/Marketing/Analytics ecosystem – Research, Experimentation, Product Development, Customer Lifecycle, Segmentation, Audience Management, and more.


Work Location:

  • Desired location for this position would be Collierville, TN however, this position may be located anywhere within the United States.


Relocation:

  • Relocation assistance available based upon business needs.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline required.
  • Seven (7) year work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, solutions implementation, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics.
  • Demonstrated superior analytical skills with diverse analytics, data types and statistical software and applications.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, written, and oral communication skill.
  • Proven leadership skills.

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $9,475.00 - $12,147.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
