We’re seeking a passionate Data Scientist to help develop and implement best-in-class analytical models used to power HouseCanary products.

What you'll do:

    • Help product managers, stakeholders, and data analysts derive the most value out of research models, algorithms, and discoveries by communicating research output in an easily digestible fashion
    • Aid in communicating research outputs to potential and current clients
    • Define, build and own statistical and machine learning models, algorithms and bodies of research
    • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate models and various research initiatives into HouseCanary products
    • Derive new key performance metrics for measuring model performance and stability
    • Evaluate new data sources for quality and core model impact

What you have:

    • Undergraduate degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering or another quantitative discipline
    • At least one year of model building experience or experience implementing models in a real-world application
    • Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages.  At least one of these being R and/or Python is required
    • Intermediate knowledge of SQL is required

Special consideration for:

    • Knowledge and experience in the residential real estate market
    • Experience interacting with external clients in an analytics-oriented role
