About the Role

The Data Scientist will join our growing Data & Analytics team to build models and conduct analysis across all of KeyMe’s business components, including senior leadership, operations, sales, and product development. The candidate will report directly to our Head of Analytics and work with our CEO, CFO and other senior leaders to improve access to accurate and actionable data insights. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building production quality machine learning models
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis for executive leadership
  • Performing exploratory analysis to understand relationships and opportunities to improve business outcomes 
  • Reviewing and improving models currently being generated and deployed in production
  • AB testing kiosk product enhancements
  • Refining our ELT processes
  • Building dashboards and reports

 

How We Know You Can Do It

  • 2-4 years of experience as a practicing Data Scientist or Data/Analytics Engineer
  • B.S., M.S. in Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Economics, or other quantitative field
  • Good problem decomposition skills and autonomy when faced with solving data problems
  • Must have experience accessing and manipulating data using SQL and programming languages like Python and/or R
  • Experience deploying code and maintaining models through production lifecycles
  • Experience using version control to work collaboratively with others
  • Understanding of different statistical and modeling methods, how they work and when they should be leveraged
  • Ability to quickly iterate over common feature transformation and model types in order to build the best predictive models
  • Experience presenting complex analytical topics and findings to executive and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with analytics and business intelligence reporting (PowerBI, Tableau, etc) 
  • Able to work independently and efficiently in order to meet organization goals
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a cross-departmental team
