About the role:

Partnering with the VP of Finance, the primary focus of this role is to build predictive models that help strategic decision making. You will be responsible for multiple input complex modeling problems (VTM analysis / Vacancy Forecasting / By Market P&L-Margin forecasting, among others). You will also be part of the broader Data Science team and work closely with other data scientists on machine learning solutions for Mynd’s business.

Responsibilities:  

• Extract and analyze large datasets using SQL
• Conduct data analysis and visualizations using Python/R
• Reasoning from first principles, apply a variety of statistical and mathematical modeling techniques to research and understand patterns and behaviors
• Write code concisely and effectively
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders 
• Effectively communicate results to diverse audiences
• Work with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master's Degree with 2-4 years of experience working within an analytical role
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python/R) and a database querying language (SQL)
• Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments.
• Strong intellectual curiosity and critical-thinking skills
