WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Responsible for capturing and analyzing social platform, audience, and business operational data to develop actionable recommendations for management and newsroom to increase content performance, output, and revenue;
  • Tracks KPI goals, builds performance metric dashboards, and responds with accuracy and urgency to a wide array of data requests. 
  • Define methodologies and formulation supporting management-level decision-making and business objectives through predictive and prescriptive data analysis;
  • Gather data from multiple platforms and deliver metric reports and automated dashboards that communicate KPI performance for management and the newsroom;
  • Measure assess, and optimize video performance, particularly as they relate to KPI goals; 
  • Provide data analysis and recommendations to management that drive productivity, improve cost efficiencies, and achieve KPI yearly goals.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Intelligence or a closely related analytical degree related degree plus 5 years performing business intelligence and marketing analytics involving online publications and social media platforms; OR
  • Master’s degree in Marketing Intelligence or a closely related analytical degree plus 3 years performing business intelligence and marketing analytics involving online publications and social media platform

Special Skills Required:

  • Coding: SQL (BigQuery Specifically), Python (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn);
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Google Data Studio, Looker, Tableau 
  • Data Analysis: Google Sheets or Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, Solver), Modeling (Time series analysis, Regression)

This job is remote. We’re dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all of our employees, and when we reopen, will require everyone who works from one of our offices to be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19. The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $125,000.
