As the Senior Analyst on the Ecommerce team, you will be the primary point of contact for all ecommerce data questions and analysis and communicate the findings and recommendations to the larger team and stakeholders. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Present in-depth analyses on ecommerce performance to help grow revenue and traffic that does not just report on what has happened, but goes deeper to understand larger trends. 
  • Make recommendations to the business development team, editorial team and social team about performance
  • Identify key growth opportunities and ways to test and iterate. 
  • Own coming up with solutions to problems, always looking for ways to automate or use data and tools to fix problems facing the business. 
  • Support the business with regular reporting and insights
  • Own a long-term roadmap for data priorities
  • Ongoing maintenance of reports and dashboards
  • Ad-hoc analyses as requested by senior leadership or of major events (Prime Day, Black Friday and so on). 

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  •  Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (Parsely a plus) 
  • The ability to explain data in layman’s terms is a must 
  • Data visualization tools (either looker, google data studio or Tableau) is a must
  • Understanding of search tools - SEMRush or competitors and search console is a must
  • Experience with ecommerce business or affiliate business would be a plus 
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and or google sheets is a must
  • Experience using SQL-based exploratory analytics tools is a pus 
  • Familiarity with Python and R is a plus
  • Understanding of statistical concepts is a must
